brilliant dining in brasserie + bernard

Wednesday is always my favourite day in a week. one of the reason is because of bernard^^as i posted a short paragraph on him before, he is my f&b operation class teacher .. A german, middle-aged, quite good looking, very experiance in hospitality, owned night clubs and had great sense of humour------bernard.

Today, i woke up around 10am and decided to watch a movie. so, made myself butter toast with ham and a cup of coffee plus an orange(gotta eat more fruits to prevent sick), i turned on my laptop and try to figure out which movie should i watch today. finally, i've chosen Transporter 2. this show was really good or may be i should say it fits my taste cuz it was kinda action and adventure stuff which i like.

The main character---Jason Statham was so handsome in this movie, there was a moment i think he had the chance to be james bond bcuz he was so perfect in that show!!! six packs, good at fighting, driving skills are pretty good, ex millitary force, and quite good looking----these are the qualifications a girl wish to hav from their future partner(seriously, i doubt there is such a perfect guy in this entire universe =.=). but anyway, this was a good show with excellent action, right character and exciting story line .. i quite enjoy it^^

finish my movie, go on facebook-ing awhile but basically not many ppl online, so log out after a few minutes. reheated yesterday's un-eaten dinner as lunch, have a little chat with mum and off to skul to have my f&b class..=)

it's 3.30pm when bernard walk in our class. after marking our class role then we start our class. here goes the conversation that make our class go crazy once more ...

bernard: u guys love me huh?

class: yea, we love u ... (janet: 100%)

bernard: ok, today we'll have another dinner in brasserie at 6pm ....(not finished)

class: YEAH!!! WOOOHUUUU!!!( the class go nuts and everyone hi5-ing each other like we've just won the national champion for some sort of competition, its crazy ..)

bernard: hey guys, calm down(still some cheering going on) .. lets go there and see their sequence once more and see how it works...ok?

class(still in crazy mood): yea!! no prob...

bernard: ok, now jackets off so it looks like a class and not a party, come on .. (pointing me and janet cuz we both wearing jackets) .. lets go in there and work out on the pars and the POS system..

great man right? bernard is not an officially teacher, he is just a man who is very experience in this field,but somehow he was invlove in teaching student in a college. weird huh? anyway, i'm glad that he come here to teach, thats why we can meet him ...^^

finish off our pars lesson and POS system, we went back toclassroom and do some wine pouring practice. and there he is, giving us lecture on wine pouring although we had done this last week. but he said if he had to place our class as a team operating in the brasserie, he had no doubt cuz he had 100% confident in us. wat a good news it is. u know wat? it means we're going to pass our final assessment, wahaha^^

after the wine lesson is the happy hour^^we all march to the brasserie and had our dinner. i'm in in the same table with bernard like last time, joining us is lulu, jamie and raymond. i had a cod fillet as main and souffle for dessert. let me tell you, its awesome!!!

the fish was so delicious and there is also prawn in it, oh, my favourite .. the fish is nice in colour, fried well on the skin and its crispy, well seasoned, there u go perfect cod fillet^^(in my point of view as a chef for 10 weeks). now, the souffle .. THE SOUFFLE !!! ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOO NICE !!! (sorry guys i forgot to take a photo of it bcuz it was too nice and i cant wait to eat it=) it has icing on the surface and its warm and soft, it just melt in your mouth when u eat it. imagine something is really soft and tasty, wow .. oh there is also ice cream, although its just a small portion but its good(well, ice cream is good all the time, right?^^)


there you go, the setting of the restaurant. every table is like that.romantic right? bring your partner here next time, its a good place to dine^^


this is the nasty place(erm, its not if u done everything correct). well if u're well performed during the whole service, then its ok. if not? u'll get the 'you're in big trouble' look from the chefs. BECAREFUL, YOU REALLY DONT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN !!!

so, this is my interesting wednesday. great morning, nice lunch, funny class but learn a lot from the real environment and yummy dinner in brasserie(thanks to andy, the chef in charge today who makes this so tasty=)finally, really a big thanks to bernard. he really teaches us a lot bout this field, i mean we learn it from practical in real environment. he sometimes brings his own experience and tell us the pros and cons of doing this and that bla bla bla(bla bla bla is the word he always said)and that make us have a clear view and better understanding in this industry.

but sad things happen sometimes. we, comercial cookery students will not have f&b operation class the next term. it means we dont have the chance to have bernard as our teacher anymore next term. what a sad incident T_T. he is the best teacher among all, i dont wana lose him .. but that is wat it is, except i change course but there is no way i'll do that. so i guess when term 1 ends, its also goodbye for us. well hope we can still meet up in skul^^

finally, i personally wana thank you so much. you have been teaching us so many skills and gave us so many information bout this industry. we really have a lot of fun and enjoy having class with you. you're a great teacher, bernard, you really are ..

interesting saturday + sleeping over at yvonne's

Its saturday when i decided to go yvonne's place. she called me bout 9 something in the morning and ask me to go over cuz she is cooking crab as dinner (she knows i like crab).

so i said, :'erm, i'm not sure cuz i still have to complete my kitchen studies assignment (with that shit partner on last post i mentioned). if i'm done within this afternoon, then i'll go, if not i'll meet u 2moro morning(sunday).'

yvonne: 'oh, i'm cooking crab wo today, come and have dinner la...'

me(struggling to say yes immediately but i know i haven finish assignment):'erm, i think may be i can come cuz i think i can rush to finish it by afternoon and print it out. or i call u later?'

yvonne:'ok, no prob, give me a call later. bye.'

oh my god. its soooooo tempting. my favourite crab.... i must eat crab today after the big sick. hehe^^ so, i promise myself to finish the assignment and go over in the afternoon. after a rush the whole morning and afternoon, finally my assignment DONE !! without wasting any time (cuz its almost 4pm), i quickly walk back to skul to print it out and submitt it if possible. but when i reached there, the staff said:

'why are you here? we're closing in 5 minute.'

i was like' wat? i thought the library was closing at 5pm?'

staff:'that's the old timetable, now what do u want?'

me:'i just want to print my assignment out. can i?'

staff:'do u think u can finish it in 3 minutes? cuz we're closing already..'

me:'yes, no prob, very fast.'

the staff seems not very happy bout it, but watever, i dont care .. i just wana print out my stuff and get it done. but u know wat? I CANT PRINT OUT THE COLOURED PICTURES !!! i tried twice and its not working. so i called the staff, 'y i cant print out my coloured papers?' . ' i dont know i cant check it for u now becuz the security system is locked already at sharp 4pm'

and when i looked up on the clock, its already 4.02pm =.=lll my god, do the skul have to act like that? do u know even if u're closing late for 5 minutes, u can save many ppl's life? why do u do like that? (sorry, suddenly a bit emo) so i just print out the black and white stuff and go home..
haiz, everything have to be done on monday. i gonna 'rebut' computer with other ppl again T_T ..

anyway, when i got home i called yvonne straight away and told her that i'll be going over cuz my assignment is done(which is true, i just haven print it out :p). she was quite happy and so i quickly pack my things and showered and walk to train station around 5.45pm.

its already dark outside and the greenwood plaza which everybody usually pass through when they have to go to train station, is closed. so i walk down to blue street and try to catch a train, but THE TRAIN STATION IS CLOSED !!! oh my god, wat happen today? first the library, then the station, what's next? ...

now the problem come. SERIOUSLY I DONT KNOW HOW TO TAKE A BUS TO CITY!!! i remember the landlord told me every bus can go to the city, but is it true? i've never take bus from where i stay to city before. so i called yvonne. she ask me to go home and wait for jim to pick me up. i said no immediately cuz i know since i come to aussie, she and jim already help me a lot, i will try to bring less prob to them as possible. i told her i will figure out how to get to her house and ask her not to worry..

(long speech short talk la, if not write until 2moro morning liao)

so there was a girl in the bus station. i approached her and asked which bus should i take to city, she said she is going also, i can follow her if i dont mind. haha, of cuz i dont mind la, some 1 bring me there wo. so i sit beside her and listen to my mp3, la la la ...

10 minutes passed ...

15 minutes passed ...

20 minutes passed ...

at last i decide to ask her: 'when the bus will come? we've waited for quite awhile' . she answered:' i'm not sure, but there should be 1 in a few more minutes.' i was like' wow, i thought buses to city is very convinient and many?' but its a saturday and its already 6.30pm, so may be the number of buses is reducing..

finally when a bus arrived, she said lets go on this bus, although this bus doesnt go straight to city but i'm in a rush, so i'll change bus in wynyard later(dont be confuse bout the places name, just hear the story). i followed her and finally reached yvonne's house safely XD ..

once i got in her house, i have a feel like i've reach home or in particularly, a more familliar place because mum and i stayed here for about 3 weeks before. suddenly i do really hope mum will appear and said to me 'dinner is ready' or at least 'how's today going on' or just talk to me or even scold me for not tidying things up or watever.. i miss mum so much, til this minute only i realised how much i miss mum. i haven been seeing or talking to her(except on skype) for 2 months already, how i wish this minute i'm really home which i can be with my family. i miss them so much. suddenly feel like crying now .. T_T .. i miss u ..

but at least i'm with someone who had blood-related with me now, that feels better. bcuz before that, everyone i met or talk to was friends and landlord, so boring and lonely sometimes ..

put down my things, greeted everyone and dinner is almost ready. wah,

crab!!!

the dinner was awesome, beside crab there is also salmon fish and abalone(usually i dont like, but this was good^^), perfect dinner after a busy day and for gathering=) we chat and laugh and have a lot of fun .. later at night, something interesting happens, guess what?? >mahjong< haha^^ gambling happens when chinese gather together .. this is a really good entertainment, althought i was not allowed to watch ppl play mahjong in ipoh, but now i even learning how to play, huhu^^ so syok!!

have u tried when ppl got the tiles u want and u're about to win but a step late and ppl won it?? haha, then u'll know exactly how is this feeling XD .. mahjong is no limit for age and gender, everyone is welcome and its easy to learn(suddenly become mahjong ad adi, nevermind la^^)so we play until 1am and off to bed..

brushed my teeth, washed my face and put on my sweater. since ther is no more room for me, i'm sleeping in the living room(dont think that i'm very pitiful, actually the matress and blanket was more comfortable compared to those in the room^^i'll choose to sleep in the living room again next time, haha=))

-shit assignment partner-

Friday---always the day i liked cuz its weekends for 2 days^^ haha .. but anyway, i still have to crawl up 6.30am in the morning to attend my f&b studies class. ate my bfast quickly and went to skul ..

The class was on for 2 hours and when it finally ends, we all rush to the library to use the computer. the reason i use rush is bcuz everyone is really hurrying to pack their things and get out the classroom even justin (the lecturer) is still saying,' bye guys, see you next week. have a nice weekend'...

for some reason and i believe its bcuz the time is nearly end of the term, so everyone is doing their assignment and this leads to many people keep coming in and using the computer. if u're not quick enough u will NOT have a computer to use. it's cruel huh? but this is it, u fast u get it, u slow u just see ppl get it.

so i manage to get 1 in the last few tables. ajay said he is giving me the part of assignment that he had done and so we open it. u know wat? i feel like slapping ppl now. that shit ajay said he haven finish his 2 dessert and conclusion. i was like 'wat'? i told him to finish it by this week and must give it to me cuz monday is the due date. and now he tell me he hasnt finish. he was lucky that we're at library that time, if its in class, i would have yell at him.

i was so angry. in the beginning of this assignment when i have him as my partner was already a wrong step, but i let it go on cuz i thought this was a quite easy assignment so i think it should be ok. but now i really regret it, i would have choose to partner somebody else but certainly NOT him. weeks and weeks i kept reminded him to do this assignment so that we finish it on time. but somehow i forget he is an indian. sorry to say that, but indian is really lazy. its really a fact that everybody knows.

so i said to him, 'now u better finish it and gave it to me before tonight' .. i have sacrifice to do more work since i know he is that type of people. i've planned how to present it, bought folder, get him to buy me colour papers and i even do all the settings and format changing stuff, and now he told me he haven done it. no point, i can only wait for his work to get done.

then later, i follow janet home to see her place. its very nice and new and comfortable. there's even a swimming pool in the backyard. i quite like it but its too far from our skul. it takes 35 minutes. so we ate green peas soup that janet cooked and some ice cream^^ .. we also watched 'Mr and Mrs Smith' movie in the afternoon. it was nice, brad pitt was handsome and angelina was beautiful. perfect match for both of them ..

when its almost 4.45pm, janet walk me to to train station and i got a train around 5. off i went back to north sydney and back home. but the visit to janet's place was quite nice, we chat a lot and have fun while watching the movie^^..

when i was back home, i open my email to check whether ajay had send me his work. wat a disappointment .. he didnt send it. then i knew for sure he hasnt done it, i called him and its true.
he said he had a job and will give me the work by tomorrow morning. i was sooooooooooo angry until speechless and dont know wat to do. i just feel like yelling and slapping on his face. but he is not there. so late at night i sms him, i said 'if u didnt give me the work by 1pm 2moro, we'll do it seperately. u hand in yours and i'll hand in mine'

u know wat, i should have said it today so that i can finish early and continue other stuff. i dont have the responsibility to wait for his work. but i gave him the last chance, that is tomorrow. if he didnt fufill it, then bye bye. we're not a team anymore.

-my little place-

Today i'm going to introduce my little place to you all^^

well although it's not big banglo or beautiful condo, but at least this is enough for me=) i've tried to snap the pictures in a better way which will make it looks more spacious, but unfortunately, the angles that i can snap is really limitted. so, sorry guys~~

ok, let's start with my warm and comfortable double bed^^ this is where i had my dreams every night .. i have an electrical bed spread underneath it also, just in case it's too freezing out there then i'll switch it on before i sleep ..



Dont look down at this small small cupboard ah, i keep all my winter clothes there.. not very big though but its enough to stuck my stuffs in ..




let me introduce the machine that does my laundry, the washing machine^^ there was once i was trying use another function to wash my clothes bcuz it stated there it takes a short time to complete. but it ends up all my clothes soaking in the water and that's all. it stops. i was like, 'wat? hey buddy u gonna move, if not how am i gonna take it under the sun?' but it still make no move. so no point i had to use the normal function to wash it again. haiz, troublesome .. but that few of my clothes smells pretty good cuz it's been doubled washed, haha^^

mirror mirror on the wall, am i awake or sleepy? trust me, when u woke up in the morning even u are still very sleepy, u just have to do 1 thing. touch the water. the water is like oh my god, it's pretty cold like ice water and u have to gaggle it when u brush your teeth, it really takes half your life. so u will be very awake without loud alarm clock or anyone to slap on your face .. somemore if it's in the morning 6.30am .. god, now i think also shievering adi .. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ..

the place i had my hot shower bath, wahaha probably one of the 'not cold' event going on .. everytime when i was tooooooooo cold, i'll just go for a hot bath, it's so comfortable to get the warm water running down your skin when you're freezing .. 'i feel good'( ntv7 theme song, haha )

Now, this is the important thing u must have during winter season, if not u really will die of coldness. (just ignore the shoes beside it, will u?) This thing is called a heater. It's an electrical appliance that gives out heat with u plug it to the socket. In a cold day (well everyday is consider almost cold cuz this is my first winter and i'm still trying to get use of it), u MUST turn it on, for your life man .. if not u really will freeze in the house without it .. oh, heater i love u, u keep me warm ..

oh, here comes my working table. erm actually i cant call it like that, i should call it everything table. hehe^^, bcuz i'm doing everything here. my assignments, chatting with family, msn, facebook, blogging, breakfast, lunch, almost everything was done here on this table. well as u've seen, the space here is not very big, so everything is reduced down to a limitted place. (again just ignore the bicycles)

Tvs. when u thought of tv i'm sure u'll thought of the shows or tv series right? well dont get cheated by australian tv programme, its really a failure. The reason i say so was bcuz its really nothing much u can see. news everyday until noon, some stupid boring tv shows in the afternoon then at night only it will start to be more interesting maybe .. I said maybe bcuz sometimes its thumbs down also, except for american idol, so u think u can dance, home and away, bones, CSI and desperate housewifes. the others just no way, its so boring unlike in m'sia, have many tv series and movies almost all the time. what a failure=(

now it comes down to my small kitchen. the main items i used was the kettle to get my water boiled twice a day and the sandwich maker which i make myself breakfast every morning. Its easy to use and things get done very fast. when u put the bread in, within 2 minutes u already eating it, fast huh? but bread was my everyday breakfast cuz its included, haiz kinda hope there's something else sometimes. i miss ipoh char kuey teow and wan tan mee !!!

basin to do my cleaning up and plates to hold my food. if u see closer there is instant noodles 'har mee' (red packet in the corner) there. it's sold here so i bought 2 packets and take it as lunch sometimes ..

-HARRY POTTER 6-

It's the big day i'm watching harry potter^^ ... since last week, mina and i was planning which day are we going to watch this show, then we decided to watch it on friday which is today around noon.

Before i meet mina in town hall, stop by at skul to print out my OH&S assignment and hand it in. yes!! finally 1 assignment down, but there is 4 to go and the next 1 is on monday and i haven even started a bit... so, gambateh !! haiz, dont feel like doing them... T.T

Let's dont talk bout the sad stuff and continue our great harry potter movie^^ then on noon i went to meet mina in town hall station. suprisingly zin is also coming with us. so off the 3 of us down to George street for our movie. when we step in the tickets box, oh my god, the queue was sooooooooooooo long. we waited 40 minutes to get to our turn to buy tickets. but never mind, the show is worth it. so after buying our precious tickets, it was already 1pm and our show is on 2pm. then we went lunch in a steak house, the environment was pretty good though its a bit dark for lunch in the afternoon. i forgot to see what's the restaurant name but have some pictures....

harry potter movie was always so good no matter which episod it is. the character was good story line was nice and it makes me drop tears when dumbledore dies.. there's a moment i wana grab a knife and go straight to snape's face and kill him... all i can say is WATCH THE MOVIE..

its so good and irresistable.. those who dont watch it, its really a waste and i garanteed u, u've just lost a watch for the greatest movie in the universe.. u'll regret it...

HARRY POTTER, I"M ADDICTED TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

-usual monday-

woke up 6am in the morning, it was pretty tired cuz i've just recovered from a bad fever. still flu-ing and coughing now. haiz.

today was quite different cuz everything sounds interesting. wendy, out intro to hospitality told us that we can hand in our major assignment on week 11 instead of the original date on week 9. YEAH!! believe me, i'm not the only 1 who scream like this cuz every1 was so happy bout it. this assignment was a group assignment and every1 will not start until the very end cuz every1 was thinking other people will start to do it first (which turned out not actually). although our group had interviewed the manager, but we were same as the others, haven start at all..:P... but i, as the good girl (dont vomitt) had written a draft for my part and that's a whole lot of it. cant believe it right? well its the truth..

before colin's class on 11am was the excited part. every1 was wondering why there is no results script on the board for us to check like those others subject? was it too terrible? does every1 failed? questions and possible answers were popping out each of my classmate's head, but we still cant guess it because colin's test was the toughest among all.. every1 was having a 'i'm failed already' look on their face when we finished our test( that includes me although i know how to do most of it but not very sure bout my answers. so i think like the way every1 thinks).

then it's 5 minutes to 11am. every1 walk to salgo (our classroom).

(before that, colin asked me to buy him a bottle of water. i was like, 'colin, have u got our results?'. i was there expecting answers, but all he gave me was a node and a smile, a very big smile and i think i saw some evil in it.)

That's awesome!!! i've never imagined i got such high marks. some of the questions i dont know how to do, how come? i was so so so so so happy bout it and i feel like screaming it out loud!! That's why colin gave me that smile when i ask him^^haha, really thanks for that, to make me so nervous...hee... thanks colin!!!

walking back to my seat, my gang high 5-ed me. i was really so thrilled until speechless man.. although i didnt speak, they seems to understand i'm saying thank you and patt on me back.

haha, that's today=) happy monday right? well at least better than some of the past mondays. yeah hu...^^

-food and beverage class-

woke up this morning bout 10 something, decided to do some laundry cuz the sun is so good out there.. so i dumped all my clothes and chef's jacket and appron bla bla bla, off to the washing machine to do its work..

half and hour passed, and i took out all the clothes and try to let it dry under the sun. Unfortunately, when i got out, it RAINS !! i was like, 'what?' .. after i've washed all my clothes then you rain? haiz, although i love the rain, but i need my clothes dry mate, pls be sunny day tomorrow =(

today is bernard's class. so i was quite excited cuz i like his class the most. funny, interesting, crazy but we learn a lot from him, he is a good lecturer. we love u, bernard !!! then, when we start our class,

bernard: class, what we do today is we will go to the brasserie and have dinner there and see what the services are, ok?

class: oh, yes !!

bernard: very happy huh? ok, guys i tell you what, we go for dinner at 6(pm) and come back at 7(pm), ok? by 7, we will be back here..

class: no problem..

bernard: ok guys, lets go to the back and set up those tables, this week i want perfect set up. Get the cutleries polished, glass polished, go get brand new clean table clothes and set them up. ok, come on guys, sim sam som sam som..(dont be confused, this phrase sim sam som thing is meaningless, it's just our 'language' to communicate, haha^^. he was once still joke around and said he used to grown up in malaysia when he was small, so he know fluently malaysian language..bla bla bla=))

so, this is bernard. he is pretty cool right? great teacher man, i like him so much^^ well, we dont even have to pay for our dinner, bernard paid it, that's awesome.. do u find a teacher that will pay for your dinner just because your class asked whether you all can have dinner together in the brasserie? absolutely NO !! on last week class, we just ask whether we can go and have dinner with him, and he said 'sure, we'll find a place and have dinner'. Then today, he had done it. he really take care his students, oh my god.. cant find another teacher like him anymore..

In the brasserie, bernard, knot, curtis, raymond and me are sitting in 1 table, while jamie, fatiha,janet and henry are sitting on the next table. Bernard said we dont wana make a large table that is hard for the term 2 students in the brasserie to serve us, just divide it into 2 and that will be fine. Our table is ordering entree and main. throught out the whole dinning, bernard was like james bond, he knows every steps perfectly well and it's right on timing..well i guess he is good at it because he is a teacher, haha^^ but he is really good at it. Every waiter's move and action, even their next move was totally finger snap by bernard.. he can tell every step which is right and which is wrong. oh god ...

well that's bernard, haha, my favourite teacher.. ^^

In the middle of our class when we had our break, me, janet and raymond went to see our food and beverage results.. there u go ---

YEAH !! 49/55 ... i'm really happy with it, thanks to bernard and justin (both my f&b teacher). Haha, mum, i've proved it again, i'm studying^^=)

-intro to hospitality results-

Monday, always the toughest day to school cuz everyone is enjoying weekends then suddenly fall back to normal working days. haiz ...

As usual, i walk to school around 7.30am in a strong wind condition, freezing >.< ... forecast results said that today's weather is between 6 to 12 degrees. Oh my god @.@ ...

Anyway, when i reach school, janet and raymond hurried me to check my intro to hospitality results. i almost forgot today the results script is available. so, off to the notice board, and guess what?

Yeah!!!

Back in m'sia, i will be thrilled if i got this mark on my subject. now, i'm really happy with it (although for some people this is just small pea matter, may be you will feel like no big deal, but for me, it's a good start and at least is a good beginning).

what a boring day, woke up at 10am, made my usual breakfast--toast with butter and peanut butter and fresh milk =.=

finish breakfast after 15 mins then when online to do some research, suddenly remember veena's paarents are coming today, so good^^ sure she can enjoy very much .. anyway have a nice weekend ya, veena^^

in the process of doing research, sneak into maplestory and try to download but FAILED...
haiz, i've tried to download it for 3 times but invain .. really so hard meh? what's the prob actually??

whatever, just continue on my assignment. not very hard actually, but needs time to complete it, very troublesome also .. while doing food and beverage assignment, post something for you guys to see ..



tables setting in sugar thief classroom..

this is our practical class, so bernard( f&b teacher, also my favourite teacher^^ ) set task for 8 of us to set up the practical restaurant behind .. nice rite? hehe^^ this teacher is really good, you will never get bored in his class, NEVER man.. his lecture is very interesting and sometimes he'll tell us about his past experience, pretty cool .. ^^

anyway, today is quite boring also cuz whole day stay at home. school 2moro, haha:)

-new life in sydney-

It's already one and a half months since i left my hometown and travel all the way from Malaysia to Australia. Let me try to remember the first day of my new life.....

~sydney airport
Ok. here it is. On the 18th of may, i travel to sydney with mum by MAS and reach sydney on the 7am on 19th. it takes 7 hours flight and my butt gone numb after sitting for so long in the plane. passed the custom, both of us when to the wrong side of luggage pick-up place and waited for 10 mins then wonder why our luggage is not coming out.

when mum looked up on the screen, she was' michelle, this is not our plane luggage pick-up point la, how u see the instructions?' =.= i didnt see actually, so end up waiting at the wrong place, hehe..then we went to the correct place, push 2 giant luggage of mine and 1 huge for mum outside the so called' dining room' , we met yvonne and jim( dad's cousin sister and her husband). i think i've met yvonne for just a few times coz she had flew to aus like me in her 20s and is here for already 20 years. she is quite young and she's very fair( woo..T.T, i'll never be that stage). jim, from taiwan, looks very young and asian. he owns a computer shop in maroubra.

after all the welcome and nice to meet u bla bla bla, jim drove us home in maroubra as he had to go to work. half push half kick, we manage to move the luggage up to 9th floor (luckily the lift is working). settle down, drink some water, wear on think clothes then off we go to the city and have a look^^

~north sydney
my school is located in north sydney, bout 45 mins from maroubra. we took a bus for 30 mins to town hall and a train for 15 mins. going up the escalator, i feel so excited coz i'm about to see my new school. then there is an information desk in front of me asking whether am i a new student and do i wanna enroll today. i was like'what? enroll today? i thought the course starts on 25th?'
the girl in charge said,'yes, but we have orientation this week, the new students are suppose to attend.'

oh my god, i didnt know that. so, ok, i enrolled and started my orientation the very next day.the school is quite ok and i thing best is: ALL THE SCHOOL COMPUTERS ARE MAC BRANDS!!!
cool man, all white colour and 2o inches screen. i'm in the heaven of com. haha...

finish our uniform measuring and all stuffs, we went to have some food and visit the main streets in city like elizabeth street which we got down our bus and george steet which is the most famous and busy street. we passed by hyde park and st. james park to circular quay( the harbour). its beautiful...

At 6pm, we decided to meet leng( yvonne's younger sister) in one of the japanese restaurant. Leng is really good in studying, got all As' in SPM and now a master holder working in sydney also. she's very young and have baby face, haha. i had unagi set for my dinner. my god, the portion is really very big man, mum and i could have share if we know it's so big plate..so end up half bowl wasted T.T... yvonne take away another set for jim as he's still in shop.

lately aroung 8pm, 3 of us went home. after a hot bath and settle down, we went straight to see Mr. chow gong(zzz...).

that's all for the first day..
